Pirkle is a freelance writer and mother of two young sons. She brings to the network experience working with preschoolers, as well as professional writing experience.

Pirkle has written for travel publications and an educational multimedia company, and wrote and designed a monthly newsletter for a high-profile restaurant and nightclub in Santa Monica, California. Additionally, Pirkle was a senior editor for a corporate communications company, working on employee publications for Suzuki, Ticketmaster and Speedo. Pirkle graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and holds a B.S. degree in Journalism with a concentration in News-Editorial.
