Rice Activity Table
Convert your preschooler's Sand & Water Activity Table into a Rice Activity Table. Turn Summer fun into Winter Fun - in the house!
When the weather gets cold, you pack up all your preschooler's outside toys and leave them to sit through the winter, right? Wrong!
You spent too much money on that Sand & Water Activity Table to have it sit outside through the entire winter!
Clean it up and bring it inside. Give the table and all your preschooler's sand tools a good scrubbing, and bring it into the house. Lay a splat mat or painter's canvas on the floor, and place the table on it. Finding an out-of-the-way corner is a good place for a Activity Table.
Now convert the Sand & Water Activity Table into a Rice Activity Table by filling it with rice. You can buy a 20 lb. bag of rice at the grocery store for about $4. Fill the table (water and sand sides) with the entire 20 lb. bag of rice. Toss in the sand toys you cleaned up and let your preschooler have fun!
To clean up, just vacuum!
