Ghastly Halloween Ghosts
These Ghastly Ghosts are so much fun and are very easy to make. Any preschooler would enjoy helping to make these scary little Halloween creatures. Grab your supplies. Let's make some Halloween fun!
Small balloons
Cheesecloth
Liquid starch/fabric stiffener
Black paint
Jar or glass for propping
Cut cheesecloth into 3" wide strips - you determine the length.
Step 2:
Blow up a small balloon to the size you would like the head of your ghost to be. Set the balloon on a tall glass, vase or jar.
Step 3:
Allow your preschooler to dip each strip, one by one, into the fabric stiffener and lay across the balloon, with the balloon in the center of the strip.
Step 4:
Repeat until you've covered the balloon and made a full ghost.
Step 5:
Once the strips are dry, pop the balloon.
Step 6:
Have your preschooler paint eyes on your ghost using black paint.

How to Liven It Up
Display your ghosts over glasses of dry ice. Place a piece of dry ice in a glass, fill with hot water, then set your ghost over top of the glass. This makes a very cool, eerie effect for displaying your ghosts! Or, set a battery-operated strobe light (sold for use in pumpkins) under the ghosts - scary!More Halloween Projects
